controls pst

in the briefing for the controls lesson would you get them to check the handbrake and neutral when they first got into the seat or before you talk about turning on the engine?

Re: controls pst

I get them to check twice because:

1) passengers entering the car, distribution of weight etc

2) probably been fiddling about with the gears and handbrake.

When they first get in hand brake and neutral - how can you give a lesson whilst rolling down the road lol

Re: controls pst

What do you do when getting into the driving seat of a car?

Check that the handbrake is engaged and the gear selector is neutral at a guess.
