Keeping your accounts

The Best Small Business Accounts Book (yellow edt)

Does anyone use this book from WH Smith, about £11 and it's supposed to be very good from ADI's ?

Re: Keeping your accounts

No.. Just use a ledger showing income and expenditure, have a spike to put receipts on (which I blitz every few months during year and staple together into wads of months), my diary, and an excel spread sheet to feed it all into.

The ledger.... CollinsIdeal...... cost about £8 from Staples and has enough pages to cover up to 8-10 years.

When doing your accts its what you feed in that counts and not what you feed it in from smile

Re: Keeping your accounts

i just use a spreadsheet at the mo with income and outgoings with receipts stapled to it on a weekly basis, but this book has been recommended, just trying to see if ayone actually uses it or even heard of it smile
