RENAULT CLIO MKII

Hi All,

I have a Renault Clio mk2 W reg. I recieved a letter from Renault that my car is a recall due to the bonnet opening while driving at high speeds, today i went to Renault had it checked, they have assured me it is now ok, and they have updated their computer to confirm i have had the work done. I told them that if it will be possible for a letter, to show to the examiner when i will be doing my part 2 test. I was given a compliments slip, where the receptionist wrote to confirm that i have had my car checked and is safe now, and then signed it, i asked for him to stamp it with the renault logo, but assured me that is all i need, and as it is now on computer the examiner can phone them to confirm this.

Has anybody else had any problems, and would the renaults hand written complimentry slip be sufficient, or do i need a proper letter.
Thanks for your help.
