Quick question - CPC...

Hi guys, a chap at work asked me about this and I wasn't really sure of the answer:
He has a licence for both PCV and HGV, does this mean he'll need to do CPC for BOTH categories or just for one?

Re: Quick question - CPC...

I went to a DSA meeting to deal with the Driver CPC  issue and one of the questions i asked was the exact same and they confirmed that you can  choose which one you want to do but you only need to cover one. However as the PCV CPC starts this September i think it sensible to cover the PCV course.

Re: Quick question - CPC...

I think if your driving the cat you do the CPC, if you're not driving but have the licence you don't have to do the CPC.

Not 100% this is correct , but sure I've read this somewhere

Andy

Good question but fortunately you only need one CPC.

If you or your friend needs help getting the CPC please get in touch: For the future you may want to keep an eye on our Driver Club which will help you with maintaining your CPC.

Hope this helps
