This is the thread where you stand up and get your recognition for passing your test.

If you have passed your test over the last few months, put your results on this thread.

This will serve a couple of purposes. Firstly you will enjoy doing it, because of the celebrity status you will get from it.

But more importantly, you will show others who are learning that passing is achievable, we can also have a look at what is the average df's people get for tests and also what the average amount of times it takes people to pass.

You can put other comments on as well, but do try to keep to the topic of passing your test.

Passed 26th April 2006

Took me 2 Attempts

1st test- 2 minors 1 serious (oops) 2nd Test - 6 minors

1st test 13:35      2nd test 10:14

I think i had about 40-50 hours all with adi, no private practice at all

1st test manouvers- turn in the road E stop and left reverse
2nd test manouvers - turn in the road E stop and Parralel park

Urmmm 1 something can't remember exactly.

About 20hrs. (Don't get excited though I had lessons years ago so knew a lot of the basics)

i haven't worked this out yet erm had about 2hrs each week and was learning for 6 months. gosh is that 120 hours?! minus 12 lessons = 108 hours

took me 4 attempts (the first being at end of July,)

1st test - 4serious 9minors
2nd test - 1 serious 10minors
3rd test - 3serious 6 minors
4th test - 4minors  - at last

1st test - 10:44am
2nd test - 3:27pm
3rd test - 4:40pm
4th test - 9:37am

From start to end i had just over 90hours

ah the manoveres - well done just about all of over the course of the tests

1st test - turn in road, bay park and an E stop
2nd test - reverse round a corner, bay park
3rd test - turn in road, parallel park and an E stop
4th test - reverse round a corner, bay park and an E stop

first attempt

2 minors:  (signal and positioning on normal driving)

i took it at 10:14am

around 52 lessons.

i done turn in the road and left reverse.

                    Had about 40 hours all in i think
                       Test was at 13:33
                             Got reverse round corner, E-stop and bay park
                                 Ended up with 7 minors

  4 hours with ADI   
 
  God knows how many hours private practice, must run into hundreds.  Drove all over the country 10 years ago on L plates.  Didn't start driving again until October.  Not counting what I did years ago, it has taken me 8 months to finally pass.

Hi,

i passed first time on July 27th at 9.37am

Three minors which were: Use of mirrors, changing of speed and gear use.

Hours of lessons: Must be 50+ along with a hell of a lot of private training on private ground.

I did a turn in the road and a reverse around a corner.

Possibly best day of my life
