This guide was written by ADIs Colin Crane and Paul Pearson who, as a result of owning and running their own individual driving schools, along with their joint business enterprise of Driving School Pro, are driving instructors with years experience at the sharp end of the driving instructor business.
During one of the weekly DSPro business meetings a discussion took place about the problems and expenses that they had both incurred during their initial ADI training and later when setting up their driving schools. This would have helped them avoid the many time-consuming and frustrating pitfalls and kept their training and business costs to a minimum. From this idea Driving Instructor Business Guide has evolved
